Who we are

Crushing Creative Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through crushingcreative.co.uk. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 08820624. For anything about your data, email hello@crushingcreative.co.uk.

When you make an enquiry

If you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, your organisation, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and whatever you tell us about the project. We use it to reply to you and to talk about the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you got in touch, and you expect an answer.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, how long they stay and how they found us. It sets cookies and collects a truncated IP address, your device and browser, your approximate location and the pages you visit. This runs only if you accept analytics cookies, so our lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it whenever you like. What the cookies are and how to change your mind is on the cookie policy.

Who else sees it

Google, as our analytics provider. Our website host and our email provider, both acting on our instructions. Our accountant, where an enquiry becomes paid work. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Outside the UK

Google may process analytics data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens it is covered by the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that becomes work is kept for as long as we work together and then for six years, which is what HMRC and our accountant require. An enquiry that goes nowhere is deleted after two years. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us using it. Email us and we will answer within a month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We update this page when what we do changes. The version here is the current one.
