Brand positioning and strategy

How we settle a brand's positioning

Brand positioning is deciding what the business is for, who it is for, and what it will not do, in words plain enough that the whole company can repeat them. It comes before the logo because it decides what the logo has to say. We read what you already put out and look at who you’re up against before we draw anything. Then we tell you plainly what we think, and write it up as a brand strategy short enough that people use it.

We did Belvedere’s positioning and identity in 2021. In 2026 we did the signage on their new van, and it says the same thing the positioning did. Locala came to us for a website in 2017 and agreed to a rebrand before it went live; nine years on, their board-level strategy documents and their corridor signs still come from the same studio.

See your brand the way everyone else does.

A free audit of your brand out in the world: the website, the print, the signage, the templates your own team fills in. We do the work, then walk you through it.

Start before you have a brief.

You don’t need a brief. A name, an email and a few lines about where things stand is enough. We’ll come back with questions, and tell you plainly how we can help.
