Annual report design

How we design an annual report

Annual report design starts with who reads it: the people who decide whether the organisation did what it said it would. It has to be right on page one and still right on the last page, in a document someone else will edit next year. We design the report, build the template it lives in, and set the type rules that survive Word.

Six years of Locala’s annual reports and reviews, the Quality Accounts and the Thrive and Quality strategies all come from one system we built, which they’ve applied themselves in between. Gladman’s guidelines work in PowerPoint as well as InDesign, because that’s where most documents get made. Next year’s edition should need us less.

Featured Work

See your brand the way everyone else does.

A free audit of your brand out in the world: the website, the print, the signage, the templates your own team fills in. We do the work, then walk you through it.

Start before you have a brief.

You don’t need a brief. A name, an email and a few lines about where things stand is enough. We’ll come back with questions, and tell you plainly how we can help.
