A health site is used by people who need to find one thing quickly, and sometimes need to leave it quickly.
The brief
Locala needed two service websites: the sexual health service, and the 0-19 service in Kirklees covering health visitors and school nurses. Both had to work for people who arrive worried and leave in a hurry.
The approach
For sexual health, a symptom checker that asks a few questions and sends you to the right service, a page for every clinic, and an exit button on every page for anyone who needs to leave it quickly. The 0-19 site got a logo of its own and a pattern to go with it, so a parent can tell the two apart without reading the name.
What was done
Both designed by us and built by Gold Top Collective, the sexual health site in 2024 and the 0-19 site in 2025.
